Bayler G
Bayler grew up as a competitive dancer on a national award winning team. Ever since she put on her first pair of ballet shoes, dance was her sport and her chosen form of exercise. A certified dance teacher, she is proficient in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop and ballroom. While attending college at the University of Virginia as a kinesiology major, she continued to choreograph and perform in a dance club there. After graduating, other forms of exercise just couldn’t replace dance in her heart; she missed the structure, technique, grace, and precision of it.
“I love barre because it proves that the smallest movements can create powerful results, leaving you feeling stronger and more confident after each class.”
When she tried City Barre the first time, she instantly fell in love. It was the workout she was missing, and she has been a regular at the studio ever since. Bayler is so excited to continue her love of barre as an instructor and is ready to help others accomplish their fitness goals with each class.
When she’s not at the studio, Bayler is a student at Virginia Commonwealth University pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a goal of working as a PT for performing artists. If she’s not at the studio or studying, she enjoys trying a new Richmond restaurant or reading a good book on her patio.
